I wonder how many times Clark and the batkids + Alfred revived Bruce with the Lazarus Pit and he just never told him abt it

Ra's had always had a fondness for Tim, much the same way he'd liked Bruce. Talia could sympathize. After all, what tied them together was not their dark hair, pale skin, black eyes, physical imposition or intelligence.

It was their ruthlessness. That endless drive to secure the safety of their family. The hard-edged savagry of their devotion.

"Stand down."

The men risked glancing at her, as though attempting to make sure their hearing still worked, but at her stern scowl they listened.

"Little detective," She said, walking down the stairs to meet him, "you are quite bold."

"No, I'm out of options." He snapped back. "If you plan on trying to stop me or fuck with me today, it'll be the last thing you do."

She raised an eyebrow. "Lovely bark, puppy, but so few teeth."

He unlocked the pod under the helicopter with a scan of his hand to reveal an air-cooled compartment with a body bag inside. "He's not here to stop me, and I've got no time to waste right now on ethics. Get out of my way, Talia."

She stepped forward unconsciously, halting when he takes a threatening step in return. "Truly? And you think it would work on a corpse?"

He blows out a breath. "Yes, it's him. Look, there was an earthquake in Gotham that collapsed the cave system that led to the pool under the city. I've had crews working on excavation and reinforcement for the last two months, but they're very unstable. Then he had to go and be a fucking idiot. So here we are."

This is very much news to her. "How many times? And ... fully so?"

"Zero brain activity, yeah. I try not to overuse it, since I know full well how shit your father handles it. But yes, this is far from the first time."

Ra's was not in the compound - setting up some scheme in another country for Bruce to foil - so that meant the decision was hers. She would face his wrath when she was inevitably ratted out, but if he was right, then there truly wasn't much time.

"Can you heft him?"

He glowered. "You think I levitated him in with the Force? Of course I can."

"Then time is of the essence, little detective. I will guide you there. Once he is recovered, you will leave at once."

"Oh honey," He drawled, "I had no intentions of staying."

As Tim predicted, Bruce did indeed revive. He came to the surface with a gentle gasp and a soft, "Son?" before Tim injected a tranquilizer and hefted him again. She guided them back out to the chopper, where Tim dressed him efficiently. She watched, fighting with herself.

"Little detective?" She finally said, just as he stepped onto the rung to enter the cockpit.

"Yeah?"

"Here." She slipped a bracelet from her wrist, holding it up to him. When he only gazed at it warily, she sighed. "The Source is ringed by crystalized essence which glows in the presencw of the liquid. There are several such springs which form the Pits of much smaller size scattered under Gotham. This will assist you in locating them."

He took it and slipped it on. "Thanks. If Ra's blows a gasket over this, drop by my apartment. You can crash there while I sort his shit out." He flicked a business card at her.

Her lips quirked up. "Safe travels, little one."

"Save the cutesy shit for Bruce." He groused, much more playful than a moment prior. He strapped himself in then unceremoniously took off.

"Are you sure that was wise?" Shiva asked, watching it disappear alongside her.

"Bruce's permanent loss would leave this world a significantly darker place. But making an enemy of Tim?" She hummed. "An incalcuable folly."
